ANSWERS TO OUR MOST FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
When we are approached by people who are interested in working with us, the first thing we do is perform a thorough diagnostic of your current situation. We do this to get to know you, your business and your team; to better understand what is working well and where potential challenges may lie. From there we will run through our findings with you and make recommendations on a way forward that best meets your business needs and the outcomes you are striving for.
The short answer is you don’t! Much the same as you can get fit without a personal trainer; you can grow your business without a business coach. Those who choose to invest in a coach however, understand that results can be achieved that much faster with someone in your corner. We don’t know what we don’t know; we cannot see our blind spots; we don’t always hold ourselves accountable for doing what we say we are going to do…this is why successful people choose to use a coach; to push ourselves beyond what we believe ourselves capable of.
That’s a bit like a “how long is a piece of string” type question because it really does depend on what is required to get you where you want to be. Business coaching should be considered an investment because if you do the work, you WILL see a return far in excess of your investment within 6-12 months. To that end it is worth considering up front what it is you want to achieve from working with a coach and what that will mean to you; your business and your family.
There is a fabulous quote that says “we are either green and growing, or ripe and rotting.” If we profess to know all there is to know, then we are effectively rotting. Coaching allows us to see things we cannot yet see; to think about things from a different perspective and to achieve things we do not know yet how to achieve. By investing in a business coach, we are open to the possibility that there is more to learn; that we can be better and that we can achieve more. How is that not good for business?
No, Reignite Performance Coaching does not offer one off sessions because making changes that last takes time. That said, it is important to know that we are a match to work together and so we explore this fully before we begin any coaching engagement.
Insights Discovery is based on the psychology of Carl Jung and is as valid today as it has ever been. Over 4 million profiles have been completed across the world and Insights is used in some of the largest organisations globally. It’s effectiveness and popularity is down to it’s “simplexity.” That is, it is based on comprehensive psychological theories and statistical analysis that has been validated by the British Psychological Society; yet the simple 4 colour model is so easy to understand a 6yr old can get it, which allows it to become memorable and applicable in everyday conversations in the workplace.

It is fair to say that a coach cannot know the intricacies of all industries as well as those experienced in working within it; that said, they don’t need to. The role of a business coach is to challenge the thinking of their clients and to bring awareness to new strategies to help them facilitate the changes they are looking for. It may be however, that it is more a mentor you are searching for, which is where industry specific experience is far more valuable. Let’s have a chat to determine exactly what it is you require.
